In House Part Time Bookkeeper and Benefits Coordinator
Location: Sandy, Oregon
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm or 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Oregon Provider is seeking an experienced and highly organized In House Bookkeeper and Benefits Coordinator to join our team in our Sandy office. This part time position offers consistent weekday hours with the potential to expand into a full time role as the agency continues to grow.
As a Medicaid agency operating in a regulated environment, this role requires strong financial management skills, experience with audit preparation, and the ability to confidently coordinate employee benefits while maintaining strict compliance standards
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of direct bookkeeping experience
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace including Gmail, Docs, and Sheets
Experience preparing for and managing SAIF audits
Experience organizing documentation for annual ODDS or other regulatory audits
Knowledge of payroll processing, workers compensation reporting, and employee classifications
Experience coordinating employee benefits including medical, dental, and 401k plans, open enrollment, employee onboarding, and benefit changes
Ability to communicate effectively with insurance brokers, benefit providers, and retirement plan administrators
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and employee information
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare documentation and reports for SAIF audits
Organize and maintain documentation for annual ODDS and other regulatory audits
Assist with payroll processing and reporting
Coordinate employee benefit enrollments, changes, and communications
Maintain organized digital and paper financial records to ensure audit readiness
Support the Agency Director with financial oversight, tracking, and reporting

401k retirement plan with up to 3.5 percent employer match after completing 1,000 hours in a 12 month period or 500 hours over two consecutive years, in accordance with plan guidelines.
