Hasana, Inc. is seeking talented students in the Chicago Loop area for
a variety of spring internship positions. Take advantage of on the

This is an unpaid Volunteer / Intern position.
As Design Intern for Hasana, Inc. you will have a variety of responsibilities through the semester. Our Design teams are looking for interns in a number of different areas, including Jewelry, Handbag’s, Men’s and Women’s Apparel and Accessories and Fine Stationery.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Sourcing and swatching fabrics
● Researching and originating ideas for collection
● Organizing and archiving article numbers and price information for all fabrics and trims
● Communicating with factories, patternmaker and sample-makers to ensure quality and design execution
● Creating inspiration boards & drawing flats
● Developing presentation boards
● Organizing fabric files and samples
● Assisting with ordering fabrics
● Expediting samples
A passion for women’s economic opportunities
● Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree
● Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for 3 months
● Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
● Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and other groups as necessary both internally and externally
● Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
● Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows NT, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable softwares
● Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player
