Role Summary 

 

We are looking for a dynamic Manager to join PwC’s Advisory, Risk Consulting – Managed Services team. This role requires a strong background in project delivery, team leadership, and the ability to navigate complex client environments. The ideal candidate will have a consultative mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience in managing large teams (15–20 members) while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. 

Responsibilities: 

 

Project Delivery & Client Engagement 

• Lead end-to-end delivery of client projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations. 

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their requirements and translating them into actionable solutions. 

• Present project outcomes and value delivered through structured weekly/monthly/quarterly reports. 

Team Leadership & Mentorship 

• Manage and mentor a team of 15–20 professionals to enhance efficiency, independence, and career progression. 

• Drive accountability within the team through SOPs and standardized delivery frameworks. 

Operational Excellence 

• Implement and maintain process-wide quality and efficiency measures. 

• Oversee resource allocation, team utilization, and screening of new candidates. 

• Manage project billing, monitor receivables, and follow up on payments. 

Risk & Process Management 

• Apply strong process understanding across diverse business processes. 

• Utilize risk assessment frameworks to identify and mitigate potential issues. 

• Stabilize and standardize project delivery through robust governance and accountability mechanisms. 

Technology & Innovation 

• Leverage SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for reporting and insights. 

• Embrace AI-based technologies to optimize workflows and outcomes, acting as a thought leader to help the team adopt AI-driven ways of working. 

Business Development & Commercial Acumen 

• Support senior management in identifying new opportunities and participating in RFP/RFQ processes. 

• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness in client interactions and proposals.

• Strong project management skills including planning, resource allocation, and financial tracking. 

• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is an added advantage. 

• Familiarity with AI-based technologies and ability to integrate them into business processes. 

• Deep understanding of business processes and risk assessment frameworks. 

• Experience in implementing SOPs and governance models for project delivery. 

Soft Skills: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Advanced presentation and stakeholder management capabilities. 

• Consultative approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Years of experience required: 

 

• 8–12 years of experience in project delivery and risk consulting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. 

• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams across locations. 

 

Education qualification: 

 

CA / Masters in degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field 

Preferred to have Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, LSS or equivalent)
