As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

System Monitoring & Administration: Perform daily system health checks, monitor performance metrics, system logs, short dumps, and manage background jobs. System Maintenance: Assist in regular system maintenance, applying support packages (patches), kernel upgrades, and implementing SAP Notes under supervision. Transport & User Management: Manage the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for moving changes between environments. Perform basic user administration, including creating/modifying user accounts, assigning roles, and troubleshooting authorization issues using tools like SU53 and ST01. GRC Support: Support GRC Access Control activities, including maintaining user access, assisting with Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, managing firefighter IDs for emergency access, and extracting basic audit reports. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams (developers, functional consultants, network administrators) to ensure smooth operations and support system integrations. Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining system documentation for configurations, processes, and issue resolutions. Learning & Innovation: Stay updated with modern SAP technologies such as S/4HANA, Fiori security, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and GRC advancements under mentorship

Mandatory Skill Sets

Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, or UNIX) and database administration (e.g., Oracle, HANA, SQL Server).

Familiarity with SAP architecture, installation, configuration, and transport management concepts. Basic understanding of performance monitoring and backup/recovery procedures. Technical Skills (GRC/Security): Basic understanding of SAP security concepts, user roles, and authorization objects. Exposure to SAP GRC Access Control functionalities (ARA, ARM, EAM) and SoD principles is a plus. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX is beneficial
