Edgemine, Inc. is looking for in-house Import Production Coordinator. We are a women's wholesale apparel company with the goal of providing trendy, easy-to-wear styles with universal appeal for the junior market. We are looking for motivated individuals to grow with us.
The Role
As an Import Production Coordinator at Edgemine, you will serve as the liaison between overseas vendors and our internal teams (Sales, Design, Shipping). You will be responsible for PO creation, material tracking, shipment scheduling, ERP updates, and ensuring that apparel production meets our quality, cost and delivery goals.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate regularly with overseas vendors to monitor production status, ETAs, booking/ship windows, and dispatch readiness
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Design, Shipping) to confirm product specs, calendar deadlines, ticketing/labeling needs and delivery targets
Create and maintain accurate Purchase Orders (POs) and Bill of Materials (BOMs)/material lists, and update these in the ERP system
Track fabric/trim/lab-dip/sample progress, ensure approvals (TOPs/pre-production samples) are on schedule
Reconcile ASNs (Advance Shipping Notices), packing lists and invoices with POs; identify variances and escalate when needed
Maintain the production calendar, provide status reports, flag delays or quality risks early
Support ticketing/labeling/UPC assignment and ensure compliance with packaging/shipping requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of apparel production coordination or related experience (wholesale apparel strongly preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., v-lookups, index-match, pivot tables) and working knowledge of an ERP system
Solid knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and typical apparel production processes
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple timelines and partners
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to build relationships with overseas vendors and internal teams
Must be comfortable working in a fast-moving wholesale fashion environment
Compensation
Starting salary: $65,000 + (depending on experience)
