As an Implementation Specialist at Commvault, you will be part of our professional services organisation and responsible for providing technical expertise and implementing Commvault solutions to our customers throughout Italy.

What you’ll do…

• Close liaison and inter-working with the PMO, Solution Architect and Consultants working on the customer solution.

• Communicate clearly and precisely the proposed technical solution to Customers, partners and internal Commvault staff. To ensure the proposed solution is fit for purpose and meets all the customer requirements.

• Strive for quality-driven engagements and customer satisfaction to help develop & grow the revenues, utilisation and profitability of the regional professional services team, in-line with regional business plan for PS.

• Provide support to the PMO, where needed, to allow them to deliver Commvault professional services engagements to required quality, timescales and budget.

• Provide input to technical sales proposals and proof-of-concept engagement paperwork on technical, delivery & risk management aspects, ensuring that proposed solutions, approaches and delivery plans/requirements are viable and can be delivered to the satisfaction of the client.

• Assist in assessing the professional services delivery risks and dependencies of proposed solutions, developing & executing pragmatic approaches to eliminating or containing these risks

Who you are…

• Demonstrable experience implementing and maintaining Data Management / Security solutions within a variety of technical environments

• End-user consulting experience

• Experience with disk/tape storage hardware (HDS, Dell/EMC, NetApp, Oracle, Quantum, etc.)

• Cloud storage experience (Azure, AWS, Oracle)

• Proficiency with backup and recovery of Microsoft SQL, Exchange, and SharePoint

• Technical skills in Oracle, SAP, or other database platforms

• Commvault certified desirable

• Fluent written and verbal language skills in Italian and English
