About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and deep experience in project management of health plan services.
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in managing successful implementations for new and returning healthcare insurance customers, is the primary point of contact for concurrent projects, and works within a cross-functional customer delivery model. Reports to the Chief Product Officer for Digital Mailroom Services.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Project plan management
Ensure requirements are clearly captured and the customer is positioned for success
Ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time and of high quality
Perform risk management and implement measures to correct
Create and distribute pertinent information and status reports to management and customers
Lead customer and internal calls
Applies business and product knowledge to address client requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver quality product and service
Issue resolution and mitigation strategies based on data-driven decision making
Build partnerships with customer counterparts
Qualifications:
8+ years of project management experience in the healthcare insurance industry
Experience leading large-scale projects
Well-organized with a strong attention to detail
Self-starter and accountable, with a track record of delivering strong performance
Experience collaborating effectively across various levels and areas, internal and external
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to understand and support the customer
Understanding of healthcare payers, TPAs, and other key stakeholders in the healthcare marketplace
US Healthcare claims experience
Experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
Location:
The position can be based out of Tampa, FL, or Southern California, and will work across multiple time zones in a remote work environment. This position may require travel to a client site – approx. 10-15%
