Job Description
Rockstar is recruiting for a well-funded, seed-stage company led by experienced entrepreneurs and Nurse Practitioners. This company empowers Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to tackle the primary care crisis by leading their own practices—closing the gap in access while keeping care local. They are building a vertically integrated platform to help NP practices launch, operate, and scale as independent businesses. From opening a practice from scratch to optimizing patient access, revenue, and care delivery, their solutions are data-driven and designed to let NPs focus on what matters most: caring for their communities.
About the role
They are looking for a highly organized, execution-oriented Implementation Manager to lead their Launcher customers—new practices that come needing hands-on support to open their doors end to end.
In this role, you will act as the program lead for early-stage NP practices, guiding them through a complex, multi-workstream launch process that spans operations, clinical workflows, revenue readiness, and tooling. You will bring structure to ambiguity, translate big goals into executable plans, and ensure every practice launches confidently, compliantly, and on time.
This role is ideal for someone who loves implementation work, thrives in fast-moving environments, and takes pride in building strong foundations that set customers up for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Launch & Implementation Leadership
- Own the end-to-end onboarding and launch experience for Launcher customers, from contract signature through go-live and early stabilization
- Develop and manage detailed implementation plans across multiple workstreams (operations, staffing readiness, systems, workflows, revenue enablement)
- Keep launches on track by proactively identifying risks, resolving blockers, and driving clear next steps with urgency and accountability
- Ensure new customers are educated and onboarded succinctly and patiently into the Revenue Cycle service
Customer Partnership & Enablement
- Serve as the trusted day-to-day partner for new practice owners during the most critical phase of their journey
- Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance for first-time or early-stage practice owners
- Ensure customers understand not just what to do, but why it matters for long-term operational and financial success
Standardization & Scalability
- Partner with the Head of Customer Ops to build and refine Launcher playbooks, templates, timelines, and checklists
- Identify patterns across launches and continuously improve the onboarding experience to make it faster, clearer, and more scalable
What you bring
- 5+ years total experience with 2+ years in a customer-facing implementation, onboarding, customer success, or project management role
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-step implementations with multiple stakeholders
- Strong project management instincts—you naturally create structure, timelines, and accountability
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building the plane while flying it
- Analytical and detail-oriented; comfortable working in Excel/Google Sheets to track progress and outcomes
- Clear, confident communicator who can guide customers through complex decisions with empathy and authority
- Bonus points for experience in healthcare, primary care, practice operations, EHRs, billing, or credentialing
Who will thrive here
- Builders who love helping customers start something meaningful from the ground up
- Operators who get satisfaction from clean launches, tight execution, and strong foundations
- People who enjoy being hands-on, detail-oriented, and deeply involved in customer outcomes
- Self-starters who bring calm, clarity, and momentum to fast-moving environments
- Teammates who lead with humility, ownership, and a genuine care for healthcare providers
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$140,000 per year plus equity.
