Job Description

Envoy Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Immigration Consultant to lead our production team within our Windhoek, Namibia office location. The Immigration Consultant is crucial in managing the complexities of immigration procedures and ensuring successful outcomes for all parties involved.

As our Immigration Consultant, you will be required to:

• Work closely with the leadership team on country/region structure and resourcing (headcount)

• Develop the immigration program for country/region

• Handle immigration case work for African countries

• Serve as a main point of contact, providing all relevant stakeholders with clear and actionable guidance on immigration steps in an effective and timely manner.

• Review case assessments and initiations to ensure optimal caseload

• Ensure that NPS is meeting annual targets (Customer Satisfaction is met)

• Ensure that all employees adhere to standards, rules and quality; carry out Quality Control and ensure SLAs and NPS targets are met

• Provide Key Account Management for existing corporate clients (KAM), by attending and participating in client calls and working closely with Envoy’s CRM & Business Development teams.

• Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on immigration rules to Envoy’s data research team and support any ad hoc reporting needed

• Advise strategy for complex cases

• Strong communication with immigration authorities is essential.

• Communicate with immigration authorities to clarify guidance notes/request application update and/or escalate applications when immigration authorities fail to meet processing standard/withdraw applications and/or request refund of government fees

• Manage team’s continuing professional development and assessing training requirements

To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of immigration experience

• Minimum 2+ years of immigration manager experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

• Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of relevant tasks

• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

• Excellent time management, and organizational skills

• Keen attention to detail

• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite

• Oral and written proficiency in English

• Knowledge of other languages is desirable but not essential

• A passion for immigration

This role is in-office at our Windhoek, Namibia location.
