Web Analytics Engineer
Location: Philadelphia
Contract: 12 months

Hourly Rate - 85 to 90 $ / hour USD

Responsible for the review and analysis of metrics associated with the product to provide data regarding user experience, usage, etc. for one of the client's flagship product offerings. Additionally, responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.

Education/Experience :
- Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. - 5-10 years experience required.

Must have extensive experience in the following areas:

• BIG DATA WEB ANALYTICS (MUST HAVE)
• HADOOP (MUST HAVE)
• AMAZON CLOUD
• JAVA/LINUX o o Dashboard creation o Account creation o KPI identification o Advanced content reporting and end-user report creation

Responsibility level - Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor -
Skills:

- Support all data analysis and reporting needs of the team. - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required) - Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required) - Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
- Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Java, SQL, LINUX etc (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on requirements for the organization and translate those to programmers and developers - Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation - Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed - Advise clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs
- Advise management on current system principles and necessary updates and recommendations - Supervise the expansion or modification of system to serve new purposes or improve work flow - May interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed - May train staff and users to work with computer systems and programs
