Image Signal Processing - SW Developer

We are looking for an experienced ISP SW Developer for our teams in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and Brno offices!

Our team (ITEC) is providing a complete Image Signal Processor solution, starting with the design and architecture of ISP HW IP used in the whole portfolio of NXP multimedia processors (both MPUs and MCUs) or being provided as standalone HW IP design to our customers. Part of our solution is a full SW enablement package containing Firmware, Drivers, Middleware but also SW design tools and sensor calibration tooling. We specialize not only in HW enablement, but in the definition of ISP algorithms and system architecture as well (pixel processing, control functions, sensor tuning in specialized lab). All of this is being measured and tuned in our newly created Image Quality Laboratory in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, which will be at your full disposal. Part of our team is placed in Brno office as well, where we are opened to look for our new colleagues as well.

Job Responsibility:

• Research and Development of future ISP devices (SW development, algorithms, ISP control algorithms)
• Research and development of ISP technology for future IP generations, including the employed algorithms
• HW/SW co-design activities to specify next-gen ISP devices
• New technologies R&D and integration into ISP devices (AI processing)
• Sensor tuning process R&D, including tools development, automatic tuning approaches via AI
• Demo application development to demonstrate Image Quality (KPI measurements, IQ measurement)
• Operation System Integrations
• Communication with customers and stakeholders to achieve expected image quality (Vision Processing, Machine Learning)
• Customer support

Job Qualification:

• A master's degree in computer science, engineering, image signal processing, vision processing or related fields.
• 10 years of experience in programming (C/C++, Python) with emphasis on vison processing or image signal processing 
• Excellent on problem-solving & decision making, planning, organizing, project management and coaching skill.
• Expertise in C/C++ programming
• Embedded SW development and debugging experience as strong advantage
• Expertise in Linux environment, driver development, SW Architecture and tools knowledge
• English on communication level
• And of course, an interest in image processing or photography

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract.
