Image Data Reviewer (Part-Time)

Kuva Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our Image Quality Review team. In this part-time role (approximately 30 hours per week), you will help review data collected from our continuously operated Kuva gas cloud imaging cameras. Your work will support false detection mitigation and improve labeling accuracy of methane gas emissions to enhance our AI detection algorithms.

We are a small, growing team with a global impact, working to reduce methane emissions through advanced imaging and data analysis. Using a modern cloud-based review platform developed in-house, you'll contribute to real-world environmental monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Review and label image and metadata for false alerts and contextual information (hourly basis)

Identify trends, provide feedback, and help improve the data reviewer experience

Collaborate with developers and engineers by communicating key insights

Suggest improvements to tools, processes, and documentation

Troubleshoot issues during system outages or unexpected bugs

Requirements & Qualifications

Availability: Must be available to work at least four weekend days per month

Part-Time Commitment: Approximately 30 hours per week

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using new software platforms and web-based tools

Attention to Detail: Ability to focus and maintain concentration over extended periods

Time Management: Proven track record of meeting deadlines with consistent quality

Adaptability: Calm and efficient under pressure, especially when resolving software issues

Trustworthiness: Strong personal integrity and commitment to data confidentiality

Independent Worker: Able to self-manage tasks with minimal supervision

Visual Acuity: Sharp eye for visual discrepancies in data/image content

Preferred Experience:

Handling or reviewing large-scale image datasets

Photography or image editing

Oil and gas production familiarity

3+ years in data entry, document imaging, or related work

Technical Diploma or higher
