Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Infrastructure Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain the infrastructure architecture framework and cloud strategy ensuring alignment with business priorities, future scalability and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Builds the EA value proposition: Positioning the EA practice as an internal management consultancy, offering services and skills to support the development and execution of business strategy.
• Develops and applies minimal viable architectures: Includes a set of standards, reference architecture patterns, principles and guardrails, through the EA governance model
• Technology Selection & Standardization: Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions that enhance efficiency and innovation.
• Cloud & On-Premise Strategies: Define and implement strategies for cloud migrations, hybrid environments, and SaaS adoption.
• Cost optimisation: Analyze infrastructure costs and identify areas for cost reduction
• Security & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure solutions comply with cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration with IT & Business Leaders: Work closely with business units, CIO, IM Portfolio & Architecture team, and IT security teams to drive infrastructure modernization efforts.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Support digital transformation initiatives by communicating architectural best practices and ensuring business adoption of new technologies.
• Technical Guidance: Collaborates with infrastructure delivery teams to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture, as well as to leverage shared technologies, tools and processes that impact speed to value and time to market.
 
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.     
• Master’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience(Desirable)
Certifications
• Enterprise Architecture Frameworks
• Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s licence    
• Cloud-related Architecture certifications, ITSM, IT Governance & Security Certification ( Desirable)
Experience:
5-7 Years of experience in:
• Infrastructure Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Digital Transformation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in cloud migrations.
• Proven experience in infrastructure rationalization, modernization, and automation in a large enterprise.
• Hands-on experience managing technology vendors, contracts, and system integrators.
• Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements for data security and privacy, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Mining industry experience preferred, with a strong understanding of operational and business applications.
Technical knowledge
• Deep understanding of data governance, data privacy, and security best practices
• Expertise in cloud computing, virtualisation and hybrid application architectures
• Strong background in API management, middleware platforms, and system integrations.
• Experience in enterprise-wide infrastructure modernization and automation
• Knowledge of data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time analytics frameworks.
• Proficiency in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
