Summary

As a Manager, you will be required to understand our clients’ needs and expectations and be able to explore all the possibilities and solutions before recommending the most appropriate ones that suit their needs and environments.

Responsibilities 

If you’re successful, you’ll undertake engagements locally and globally which could include a combination of but not limited to: 

• Work on implementation of new IFRSs. 

• Deliver training on IFRS to internal and external audiences. 

• Take a lead role in developing new business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships. 

• Manage a diverse team. 

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. 

• Develop and maintain a global acumen and regularly liaise with the relevant personnel within the PwC network to find solutions for our clients. 

• Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations. 

• Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations. 

• Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making. 

• Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients. 

• Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points. 

Experience and qualifications: 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting or auditing roles plus at least two years of technical accounting manager role. 

• Member of a professional accounting body such as ACCA, ICAEW or SAICA. 

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of complex accounting concepts and principles.
