Identity Access Management (IDAM/IAM) Consultant - Senior Consultant

Role Overview:

As a Senior Identity Access Management (IDAM/IAM) Consultant, you will support the Principal Consultant in delivering high-quality IDAM solutions to our clients. You will play a critical role in executing IDAM strategies, conducting assessments, and implementing identity and access management systems. With your knowledge of IDAM technologies, you will ensure that solutions align with industry best practices and client-specific requirements. You will also assist in mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the continuous improvement of the IDAM practice.

Key Responsibilities

· Support IDAM Projects: Assist in delivering end-to-end IDAM/IAM projects, from assessments and design to implementation and support.

· Solution Delivery: Implement and configure common IDAM technologies (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, Microsoft Azure AD) to meet client-specific needs, ensuring secure and scalable solutions.

· Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

· Security Assessments: Conduct identity access management assessments to identify risks and gaps, recommending solutions to improve security and compliance.

· Collaborate with Principal Consultant: Provide support to the Principal Consultant on larger-scale engagements, contributing to project strategy, design decisions, and client management.

· Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user guides. Provide regular progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

· Best Practice Adherence: Ensure IDAM solutions follow industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.

· Knowledge Sharing: Assist in training and mentoring junior consultants, ensuring knowledge transfer and supporting the growth of the IDAM team.

Requirements:
Essential Skills and Experience:

· Proven experience in identity and access management (IDAM/IAM) implementation and delivery across common platforms (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, Microsoft Azure AD).

· Strong understanding of identity management principles, including user lifecycle management, identity governance, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged access management (PAM).

· Experience working with multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and identity federation solutions.

· Ability to support multiple client engagements, working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

· Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security frameworks, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.

Qualifications:

· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

· Additional certifications in IDAM technologies (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator).

· Previous experience in supporting IDAM/IAM projects across different sectors, including Financial Services, Retail, and Energy.

· Additional certifications in Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS).
