Identification Technician - Borden

Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services. 

We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR: 

Temporary and Permanent Identification Cards 

Dog Tags 

Security Clearances 

Finger Printing – Ink and Digital 

Photo Booth 

Computer skills - Proficient 

Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and deportment 

Other duties as required by the client 

WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US:

*MUST* Ontario Security Guard License 

*MUST* Valid First Aid and CPR certificate 

*MUST* be able to obtain Security Clearance- minimum 5 Years of Residency in Canada 

Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time 

An ability to demonstrate diplomacy, courtesy, and maturity in dealing with clients and colleagues in a high profile and culturally diverse environment

Exceptional discretion and the ability to record and maintain confidential information

Solid computer skills (MS Office Suite and Client Relationship Management Systems or other software programs

Able to multi-task and work well with little to no supervision 

Excellent customer service and reception skills 

Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently), ability to speak French is consider an asset 

WHAT THE JOB OFFERS YOU: 

Rate of Pay: $27.40 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0730 to 1600 hrs; occasional Saturday and Sunday 0730 to 1400 hrs 

Location: CFB Borden
