Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $31.86 – $46.28/hr (experience-based)

• ~5 years: $36.12/hr

• ~10 years: $40.44/hr

• ~17+ years: $46.28/hr

• Shift Differentials: +$4.50/hr (Nights), +$1.50/hr (Weekends)

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Day Shift) | $20,000 (Night Shift) – available through Q3

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated ICU Stepdown RN to join a collaborative team in a 15-bed intermediate care unit. This is a true stepdown/PCU environment with a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio (occasionally 4:1), caring for patients requiring drips, long-term ventilators, and frequent assessments. Nurses in this role bridge ICU and med-surg, delivering advanced, compassionate care while collaborating with an experienced interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform frequent patient assessments and monitor high-acuity conditions

• Manage cardiac drips, long-term ventilators, and advanced stepdown-level care

• Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure safe, effective outcomes

• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery pathways

• Promote a culture of teamwork, patient safety, and excellence in care

• Active RN license in Florida or Compact state

• Minimum 1 year recent ICU Stepdown experience (or 3+ years Cardiac/Multisystem PCU considered)

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred

• NIH Stroke Scale certification (within 30 days)

• BLS (within 30 days), ACLS (within 6 months)
