Join Advantage FSE as an IBMi Software Engineer specializing in ILE RPG, COBOL, and CL. You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of our Core Banking Processing systems, trusted by financial institutions worldwide.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain Core Banking Processing systems on the IBMi platform
• Collaborate closely with Product Development and Client Services teams to design and implement new features and services
• Participate in all software development lifecycle phases, from concept and design through testing and implementation
• Optimize and maintain the quality of our applications and products
• Proactively ensure the highest quality standards in solutions provided to our customers
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in banking systems

Requirements:
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Hands-on development experience with ILE RPG, COBOL, and CL
• Knowledge of IBM System i OS and DB2 database
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet challenging schedules
• Team player who can build consensus and collaborate effectively
• 5+ years of experience with IBMi technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in enterprise software development
• Experience with banking or financial applications
• Knowledge of modern development practices and methodologies
• Familiarity with version control systems
