As part of a decision management delivery team, you will work on designing, developing, and testing rule-based decision solutions using IBM ODM. The role requires hands-on expertise in ODM tools, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders and clients. You will contribute to both the development and quality assurance of decision services, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability across business use cases. Clear communication and structured execution are critical, given the client interaction and production-grade nature of the solutions.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

For ODM Testers

• Build, maintain, and execute comprehensive decision test plans for ODM applications
• Perform functional and regression testing of business rules and decision services
• Use ODM testing tools such as Decision Center and Rule Execution Server (RES)
• Implement and execute data-driven test scenarios, including API testing using Postman
• Validate rule behavior, decision outcomes, and exception handling
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve defects
• Ensure decision logic aligns with business requirements and compliance standards

For ODM Developers

• Design and develop decision models using Rule Designer and Decision Center
• Implement and manage business rules within IBM ODM frameworks
• Work with Rule Execution Server (RES) and Decision Warehouse for rule execution and tracking
• Develop rule flows using Java Execution Object Model (Java XOM)
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of decision services
• Support testing, deployment, and production readiness of ODM applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business logic into technical rule models

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience as an IBM ODM Developer or Tester
• Strong practical knowledge of IBM Operational Decision Management tools and architecture
• Experience working with Decision Center, Rule Execution Server, and decision testing frameworks
• Proficiency in API testing and data-driven testing approaches (especially using Postman)
• Good understanding of rule modeling, rule execution, and decision lifecycle management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a structured, office-based environment with defined shift timings
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and business impact
