The IBM ODM Developer / IBM ODM Tester role is a critical position focused on building, validating, and maintaining business rule solutions using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM). This role supports enterprise applications by enabling dynamic, scalable, and transparent decision-making systems. Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business rules using IBM ODM components such as Rule Designer, Decision Center, and Decision Server
• Translate business requirements into clear, reusable, and efficient rule logic
• Implement rule flows and decision services to support application functionality
• Integrate IBM ODM decision services with Java-based or enterprise applications
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and regression testing of rules and decision services
• Validate rule behavior against business scenarios and functional specifications
• Identify, analyze, and resolve defects related to rule execution, logic, or performance
• Collaborate with business analysts to ensure rule accuracy and alignment with business intent
• Support deployment activities and assist in troubleshooting production issues
• Maintain rule documentation, test cases, and execution reports
• Participate in code reviews, testing reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Ensure adherence to defined development, testing, and quality standards

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) in a development or testing capacity
• Hands-on experience with IBM ODM tools such as Rule Designer, Decision Center, and Decision Server
• Strong understanding of business rule management systems (BRMS) and decision automation concepts
• Experience in testing rule-based systems, including scenario validation and regression testing
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java, XML, and enterprise application integration
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, defect tracking, and testing methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and logical problem-solving ability
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Good communication skills to explain rule logic and testing outcomes clearly
• Willingness to work full-time from the Chennai location
• Experience in banking, insurance, telecom, or enterprise systems is an added advantage
