We are looking for an experienced IBM ODM Developer / Tester with strong hands-on expertise in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for professionals who have worked across the ODM development lifecycle as well as ODM testing, and who enjoy building, validating, and optimizing business rules that power mission-critical enterprise applications.

As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to design, implement, test, and maintain rule-based decision services using IBM ODM. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability of decision logic across environments.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business rules and decision services using IBM ODM
• Act as an IBM ODM Developer, working on rule authoring, rule flows, decision tables, and rule sets
• Perform IBM ODM Testing, including unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, and validation of decision services
• Develop and execute ODM test scenarios to ensure rule correctness and business compliance
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into well-structured ODM rules
• Debug and troubleshoot issues related to rule execution, performance, and deployment
• Participate in ODM rule governance, versioning, and deployment across environments
• Support integration of ODM with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP services
• Review and optimize rules for maintainability, reusability, and performance
• Provide support during UAT and production releases related to ODM components
• Create and maintain technical documentation for rule logic, test cases, and deployment processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–6 years of hands-on experience as an IBM ODM Developer and/or IBM ODM Tester
• Strong experience in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM)
• Proven expertise in ODM Testing, including rule validation and test automation (where applicable)
• Experience working with Decision Center, Decision Server, and Rule Designer
• Good understanding of business rules management systems (BRMS)
• Experience in writing and maintaining decision tables, rule flows, and rule sets
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Familiarity with Java-based applications and enterprise system integrations
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release processes

Good to Have

• Experience with automation frameworks for IBM ODM Testing
• Exposure to performance tuning and rule optimization in ODM
• Experience in regulated or high-compliance environments (banking, insurance, telecom, etc.)
