Job Description
Role purpose
At Prevalent AI, we empower organizations to take control of every risk across every attack surface. Our clients rely on our cutting-edge Security Data Fabric as the foundation for comprehensive Exposure Management, enabling enhanced decision-making. By helping clients see everything, fix what matters and stop attacks before they happen, we’re reshaping the future of security.
As an IAM Architect, you will work closely with client architects, internal product teams, and AI architecture groups to define secure IAM patterns, assess identity risk, and ensure identity is foundational to Prevalent AI’s Data Fabric and Exposure Management capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping direction, influencing design decisions, and securing complex ecosystems through thought leadership.
Key accountabilities
Architecture & Design
Define IAM reference architectures, standards, and best practices across cloud, hybrid, and identity ecosystems.
Work with client IAM and enterprise architects to review designs, provide guidance, and recommend improvements.
Assess identity-related risks, control gaps, and misconfigurations, and provide actionable remediation guidance.
Align IAM designs with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and zero-trust principles.
IAM for AI & Emerging Architectures
Lead security architecture for identity in AI-driven systems, including securing access to AI models, data, APIs, and agent-based workflows.
Collaborate with AI architects to design AI-aware IAM controls, including identity governance, privilege boundaries, and access assurance for AI components.
Define how IAM signals and identity risk context can support AI-powered security analytics and decision-making.
Product and Platform collaboration
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security Domain Analysts to embed identity context into Prevalent AI’s Data Fabric and Exposure Management platform.
Define identity use cases, risk scenarios, and architectural requirements that inform analytics and detection workflows.
Support roadmap discussions with identity-driven insights and architectural input.
Stakeholder engagement and Influence
Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders on IAM strategy and design.
Communicate complex identity and security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Influence architectural decisions across teams without direct ownership of implementation.
Skills and Experience
Strong experience as an IAM Architect or Identity Security Consultant in enterprise or cloud environments.
Deep understanding of IAM concepts including identity lifecycle management, federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), MFA, PAM, and identity governance.
Experience working with platforms such as Azure AD, Okta, AWS IAM, Ping or similar — from an architecture and advisory perspective.
Strong understanding of identity risks, identity-based attacks, and zero-trust security models.
Exposure to securing AI platforms, APIs, and data access using identity-driven controls is highly desirable.
Proven ability to work with senior architects and influence design decisions through guidance and expertise.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-driven, structured and comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
