About Us

Profound Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing is an installer of heating, ventilation and plumbing systems located in Corbeil and servicing the Nipissing district in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in new house construction and home renovations. We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as an HVAC Technician.

What you will do

As an HVAC Technician, you will be required to:

Learn and grow as an important part of our team that cares about our company and our customers.

Provide a high focus and attention to detail.

You will be responsible for being willing to learn and grow as part of a progressive, customer-oriented team.

Follow Energy Star installation process and procedures.

Ensure all equipment is installed safely and meets or exceeds TSSA standards.

Explain the general operation and maintenance of equipment upon completion of installation (Customer satisfaction is of the highest priority).

Common HVAC maintenance duties.

Operate, maintain and troubleshoot cooling systems.

Operate, maintain and troubleshoot heating systems.

Schedule and manage contractors completing services and repairs.

Replace belts and filters on all HVACs and exhaust fans

Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.

What you will bring

5+ years of residential and commercial installation experience as HVAC Technician.

Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic – 313A or 313D Journeyperson License.

Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate.

Must hold a G2 or G3 Gas Technician license

Valid driver's license

Must be legally able to work in Canada at the time of application.

Experience installing gas furnaces, air conditioners, mini splits, heat pumps, hot water tanks, tankless/on demand systems, boilers and have sheet metal fabrication experience.

Must be physically capable of performing all work required of the position, i.e. occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.

Able to prioritize changing and conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines and working under pressure.

Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Must have outstanding customer service skills.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand/learn new technologies.

Very punctual and reliable.

Able to work in a team environment and independently.

Maintain the company vehicle to a neat, clean, and safe standard.
