Position Summary
We are seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our Service / Field Operations team. This role plays a critical part in testing, commissioning, and servicing custom HVAC systems both in-house and at customer sites. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and client service, with a focus on quality, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Test HVAC units to ensure full functionality prior to deployment
Start-up and commission HVAC systems at client sites
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, components, and electrical systems
Detect and repair refrigerant leaks; recharge systems as needed
Perform pipe or tubing joint testing using pressure gauges
Accurately read and interpret wiring diagrams
Train apprentices, customers, and site technicians on our systems
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Certified Journeyman – Refrigeration (or equivalent)
Alberta Gasfitter “A” or “B” Ticket (strong asset)
Alberta Electrician Ticket (strong asset)
Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
Canadian residency (required)
Ability to travel within Canada and to the USA (valid passport required)
Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Excellent reading, numeracy, and critical thinking abilities
Proficient with computer systems and diagnostic tools
