We are excited to announce the expansion of our location in Grand Falls-Windsor Newfoundland. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an HVAC/R Technician who is motivated, skilled, and ready to make a meaningful impact in a growing company.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC/R Technician to join our team in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including heat pumps, boilers, air conditioners, and ventilation systems
Diagnose equipment issues and perform troubleshooting and corrective repairs
Install refrigeration lines, ductwork, controls, and electrical components
Decommission and remove existing oil/gas equipment
Provide detailed service reports, documentation, and recommendations
Ensure all work meets provincial safety codes and manufacturer specifications
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in excellent condition
Follow all company safety protocols and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
Red Seal Refrigeration License or equivalent recognized in Newfoundland and Labrador
3+ Years of experience as a licensed installer of heat pumps or HVAC systems
Valid Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and controls
Ability to interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physically capable of lifting equipment and working in various indoor/outdoor environments
Preferred Assets (Optional)
Gas Technician or Sheet Metal Certification
Heat pump installation experience
Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certification
First Aid or other safety training
