Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and leadership-driven HVAC Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day service, installation, dispatch, and operational activities in our London, Ontario location. This role is responsible for leading field technicians, managing workflow, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily HVAC service and installation operations
Manage, mentor, and support HVAC technicians and administrative staff
Maintain and optimize staffing schedules, dispatching, and workload planning
Oversee inventory, equipment, and fleet management
Resolve escalated customer issues and support customer service excellence
Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and departmental planning
Develop and implement operational processes and improvements
Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in HVAC industry operations, service management, or leadership
Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
Experience managing teams in a service-based environment
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities
Proficiency with scheduling, dispatch, or CRM software
Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Assets (Optional)
HVAC trade certification (G2, 313D, 313A, or similar)
Project management experience
Experience in estimating, quoting, or job costing
Training in health & safety (WHMIS, Working at Heights, etc.)
