Human Resources Specialist (Bilingual - English/Spanish)
Reports To: Human Resources Director
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours with flexibility to support recruiting activities.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support the daily delivery of HR operations across our organization. This role partners closely with the internal HR team and site managers to support workforce needs, maintain efficient operations, and deliver a strong employee experience. The HR Specialist is responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition, onboarding support, coordination of company programs including housing and safety, HR department billing processes, and other department initiatives as assigned.
This role supports a diverse workforce, including candidates and employees with varying levels of English and Spanish proficiency, as well as both local and work-authorized employees.

Essential Functions
Talent Acquisition
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates to support ongoing and future hiring needs.
Source, screen, and coordinate interviews in partnership with hiring managers.
Prepare and extend employment offers.
Track hiring activity and support workforce program coordination, including international hiring processes.
Onboarding Support
Coordinate onboarding activities in partnership with the internal HR team.
Track onboarding-related expenses and submit accurate and timely billing.
Housing Program
Maintain lease agreements and occupancy data for all company housing.
Submit accurate and timely housing-related billing.
Safety Program
Create, maintain and distribute safety resources to unit managers.
Support coordination of worker's compensation claims.
Track safety-related data and support safety initiatives.
Work Environment
This role is based in a professional office environment with occasional travel to Midwest sow farm sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Valid Driver's License and ability to travel occasionally to farm locations.
Experience in a professional office environment.
Experience with talent sourcing and conducting interviews.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience supporting a diverse workforce.
Experience with expense tracking/billing.
Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems for tracking, reporting, and coordination.
Comfortable in a support role that requires flexibility and responsiveness to changing needs.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
Preferred
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience managing full recruiting processes from sourcing through hire.
Experience with lease management or housing coordination.
Experience supporting or leading safety initiatives.
Experience supporting multi-site operations.
Experience with HRIS systems, such as BambooHR.
