About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced and driven global Human Resources Manager in South Africa to lead the HR function for our Draslovka Mining Process Solutions business unit. This is a high-impact role for a well-rounded HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and is passionate about building strong people practices, driving engagement, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple territories.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes and systems.
Lead both administrative and on-the-job onboarding programs.
Employee Relations
Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns.
Foster a positive, inclusive culture and manage conflict resolution processes.
Support the US HR Business Partner with union matters, grievances, and CBA negotiations.
Employee Engagement
Analyze engagement survey data and proactively address trends.
Design and implement initiatives to boost morale, motivation, and retention.
Performance Management
Manage performance appraisal systems and ensure SMART goal setting.
Support managers with feedback, coaching, and performance improvement plans.
HR Policies & Compliance
Develop and enforce HR policies for DMPS.
Ensure compliance with country-specific labor laws.
Ethics & Whistleblowing
Manage the third-party whistleblowing portal with confidentiality and integrity.
Promote ethical behavior and investigate concerns in collaboration with legal/compliance.
Learning & Development
Develop the L&D framework and systems (LMS, external platforms).
Coordinate training, career development, and succession planning.
Employee Benefits
Oversee and compare benefit offerings across territories.
Ensure equity and support the US HR BP with open enrollment and cost analysis.
Compensation Management
Implement the remuneration policy and job grading (WTW Global Grading).
Guide the business on salary decisions and manage the annual merit review process.
Career Development Framework
Support the Career Pathways project and maintain a library of job descriptions.
HR Budgeting & Expense Monitoring
Develop and manage the annual HR budget.
Monitor expenses and provide financial insights to leadership.
HR Reporting & Analytics
Maintain HR records and dashboards with key metrics and project updates.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
8+ years of HR generalist or managerial experience, ideally in a global or multi-territory context
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
