Human Resources Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits, systems management, compliance, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is eager to learn about HR processes and contribute to a positive workplace culture. This role is required to be on-site in our San Diego lab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the recruiting administration, including handling on site interview support for candidates and employees

• Support new hire onboarding by preparing documentation, coordinating orientation sessions, and updating employee records

• Maintain and organize electronic HR documents, employee files, and databases

• Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and company events

• Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies

• Assist with HRIS data maintenance

• Assist with office maintenance and administration

• Perform other administrative and HR-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

• Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with HR software is a plus

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn
