As a Human Resources Intern, you will play an active role in supporting the employee lifecycle, recruitment administration, and day-to-day HR operations while contributing to initiatives that enhance the employee experience. This role offers you exposure to both the operational backbone of HR and the culture-building programs that make Rapsodo a thriving workplace. Due to the sensitivity of information handled, absolute professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion are required.

What you'll do

People Operations & Employee Lifecycle

· Take ownership of key employee lifecycle tasks: support pre-onboarding, onboarding, and offboarding for interns and employees.

· Prepare HR documents (offer letters, onboarding kits, checklists, exit materials) with accuracy and confidentiality.

· Maintain and update HR trackers, employee records, and shared drives, ensuring consistency and accessibility.

· Act as the first point of contact for HR queries in the KL office, providing guidance and sharing relevant resources or SOPs with employees as needed.

HR Process Building & SOP Ownership

· Assist in building and refining SOPs (e.g., onboarding, leave, internship workflows).

· Help with HR process clean-up, ensuring all templates, forms, and trackers are up-to-date and standardized.

· Learn directly from global HR colleagues, helping where possible and documenting insights to help shape better processes.

· Suggest improvements to processes, documentation, and communication — we’re always open to better ways of working.

· Support internship recruitment process by assisting with postings and collaborating with HRBPs throughout the hiring process.

Employee Engagement & Events

· Contribute to shaping a meaningful team culture by proposing ideas and supporting local initiatives

· Collaborate with interns across global offices on shared projects that reflect and strengthen “Team Rapsodo” — our shared identity across regions.

Requirements:
· Must be a Malaysia Citizen from a Local University

· A university student or fresh graduate in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.

· Available for a 6-month full-time internship

· Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, you like to take ownership.

· Strong aptitude for problem solving and ability to organise and prioritize work.

· Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment.

· Being a sports enthusiast is a strong plus.

· Curious about people, culture, and how HR works across different regions.
