We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Medellín, Colombia, to lead a team that delivers cutting-edge HR solutions and supports legal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

At Neostella, our mission is simple: empower legal teams to work smarter, faster, and more reliably. We deliver advanced technology solutions and satellite team support that streamline operations, boost efficiency, and transform the way firms and corporate legal departments work day to day. We’re relentlessly customer-centric. Everything we do is in service of making our clients’ work easier and helping them deliver better experiences to their clients. We’re also a true team: supportive, scrappy, and always in it together. We believe in showing up for one another, rolling up our sleeves, and celebrating the wins. It’s who we are, and it’s how we help our customers succeed. Neostella is in hyper-growth mode, leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve real challenges for our clients. And we’re looking for driven, people-first professionals to help us scale with purpose and heart. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an HR Manager to join our team!

Why this role matters right now:
Neostella is growing rapidly—our teams are expanding, our operations are becoming more complex, and the expectations for how we support our people are higher than ever. As we scale, we need strong, thoughtful HR leadership to ensure our growth is sustainable, compliant, and deeply people-centered.

This role exists because we need an HR leader who can balance strategy with execution—someone who can build scalable HR practices while remaining closely connected to our employees and leaders. Your work will directly shape our culture, employee experience, and ability to attract and retain top talent.

What you’ll manage:
We’re looking for an HR Manager to oversee and continuously improve all aspects of our Human Resources function. You’ll be responsible for aligning HR strategy with business objectives while ensuring our people practices support engagement, performance, and inclusion across the organization.

You’ll partner closely with department heads and leadership to guide recruiting, performance management, employee development, and compliance efforts. This role requires both a big-picture mindset and a hands-on approach—building programs, resolving challenges, and serving as a trusted advisor to managers and employees alike.

What you bring:
We’re looking for a people-first leader with strong judgment, empathy, and operational rigor—someone who can navigate sensitive situations, make informed decisions, and build trust at every level of the organization. Curious what your day would look like as an HR Manager? Check out the details below!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full HR function in Colombia, aligning people strategies with organizational goals
• Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding to ensure a strong, consistent candidate and employee experience
• Implement and manage performance management systems and employee development initiatives
• Drive employee engagement and retention through thoughtful programs and feedback loops
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that support business objectives and a positive workplace culture
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance issues
• Use HR metrics and data to inform decisions and continuously improve HR processes
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization
• Support and advise salary benchmarking and support annual compensation review processes
• Manage payroll coordination (even if outsourced) and ensure accurate employee records
• Support career pathing, succession planning, and internal mobility

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in HR management or a closely related role
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements
• Experience working with HRIS and recruitment software
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
• Experience managing HR projects or initiatives from design to implementation
• Proven experience in performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• High ethical standards and demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information
• Experience working with multicultural or global teams
• Professional-level proficiency in spoken and written English

Nice to have:

• Experience in a technology or professional services environment
• Experience supporting remote or hybrid work models
• Background supporting fast-growing or scaling organizations

Benefits:
You will have Undefined Contract, a fast and deep growing career path, pre-paid health insurance coverage with Sura for you and one additional member of your family, flex time, flexibility to work from home as it is needed, yearly ophthalmological health bonus, and the opportunity to improve your English skills by working side-by-side with international teams and projects, apart from fully personalized English classes, and more!
