The Human Resources Generalist provides day-to-day HR support across benefits, compliance, and HR operations. This role supports onboarding, tracks training, prepares reports, and contributes to engagement and safety initiatives—all while handling sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains employee records, HR documentation, and compliance requirements.
Leads new hire orientation and benefits administration.
Provides on-site HR support, including mail processing and local onboarding support.
Responds to routine employee inquiries; escalates complex issues as needed.
Administers HR programs and benefits, including leave, retirement, health plans, and ACA reporting.
Analyzes HR data and prepares reports to support decision-making.
Supports compensation, engagement, safety, recruiting, and audit activities.
Contributes to HR projects, process improvements, and stays current on HR trends and regulations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and at least 2 years of HR experience OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of HR experience OR 6+ years of HR experience without a degree
HR Certification preferred
Required Skills/Abilities
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn HRIS and related systems
