Smardt is looking to hire an experienced HR Generalist to join our team!
We're looking for someone who will play a key role in coordinating various HR operations and employee services for our manufacturing team, including performance management, recruiting, HR policy implementation and day to day coordination of employee relations. Please note this is an on-site role.
Employee relations: act as the first point of contact and resource for manufacturing employees (front-line) on HR related issues
Carry out the administrative management of employee files and workplace accident files, in collaboration with the occupational health and safety coordinator.
Support the HR team with various administrative tasks and projects.
Support recruiting efforts
Provide education on HR policies and procedures.
Help resolve employee relations issues and support conflict resolution efforts
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with local and global standards
Contribute to HR reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement projects
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory HR requirements
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience
Minimum 5 years of HR coordinator/HR shared services experience preferred
Experience supporting employee inquiries and HR processes
Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR, ADP, SAP, etc.) considered an asset
