Job Description:
The Generalist is responsible for supporting the Head of Human Resources in delivering strategic HR initiatives with a primary focus on employee training, development, and corporate services administration. This role is responsible for coordinating learning programs, ensuring compliance training requirements are met, and overseeing general affairs functions that support daily business operations at Kia CSA. The position serves as a key liaison between departments to ensure employee engagement, operational efficiency, and a positive workplace environment aligned with Kia CSA standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct training needs assessments in partnership with department leaders.
Track training attendance, completion rates, and certification compliance.
Maintain training records and prepare reports for leadership review.
Support development of internal training materials and presentations.
Assist with performance management processes tied to development planning.
Assist with employee relations matters by providing guidance consistent with company policy.
Maintain employee files and ensure HR documentation compliance.
Support benefits administration and employee inquiries.
Assist with policy updates and HR communications.
Oversee office administrative functions including vendor coordination, supplies, and facility-related needs.
Support company events, employee engagement initiatives, and corporate programs.
Ensure workplace environment aligns with company brand and operational standards.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience coordinating training programs.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
