We are hiring an HR Operations Executive – Blue Collar Hiring for a large-scale horticulture and plant nursery operation based on Pune–Solapur Road. This full-time role focuses on managing end-to-end recruitment and workforce operations for field and nursery staff across a 100+ acre facility. You will play a critical role in building and sustaining a reliable blue-collar workforce, ensuring smooth daily operations, statutory compliance, and manpower availability during peak agricultural seasons. This is a hands-on, field-oriented HR role requiring strong local sourcing capabilities, labour law knowledge, and operational coordination skills.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring (Primary Focus)
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for garden helpers, nursery workers, plantation laborers, packers, loaders, drivers, and supervisors.
• Source candidates through local contractors, labour chowks, village networks, field hiring drives, and job portals (where applicable).
• Conduct basic interviews and skill assessments.
• Coordinate offer rollout, joining formalities, and documentation.
2. Onboarding & Documentation
• Collect and maintain worker documentation (Aadhar, bank details, etc.).
• Maintain attendance records and workforce database.
• Ensure statutory compliance documentation such as PF/ESIC (if applicable).
3. Workforce Management
• Monitor daily attendance and absenteeism trends.
• Coordinate manpower planning with nursery supervisors.
• Address worker grievances and improve retention.
• Support peak-season hiring (especially monsoon plantation cycles).
• Assist with accommodation coordination for migrant labour if required.
4. Compliance & Labour Law
• Ensure adherence to the Minimum Wages Act and Maharashtra labour laws.
• Manage contractor compliance (if applicable).
• Maintain statutory registers and HR compliance records.
What Makes You a Great Fit
• 2–5 years of experience in blue-collar hiring, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments.
• Strong local sourcing network in and around Pune.
• Practical knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic HR documentation processes.
• Fluency in Marathi and Hindi (mandatory).
• Comfortable working in field environments and handling operational HR challenges.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to manage time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, retention, and attendance KPIs effectively.
