We are looking for an experienced HubSpot Engineer to manage, enhance, and scale a highly customized HubSpot environment for enterprise use cases. This role involves deep hands-on work across HubSpot CRM, CMS, custom objects, workflows, and complex integrations with external systems.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with inherited systems, reverse-engineering existing logic, and building maintainable, well-documented solutions within and alongside HubSpot.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

HubSpot CRM & Platform Customization

• Maintain and enhance HubSpot CRM configurations across Contacts, Companies, Deals, and Tickets.
• Design and manage Custom Objects, properties, pipelines, and associations.
• Build, optimize, and troubleshoot workflows, including custom-coded workflow actions.
• Ensure data quality, lifecycle accuracy, deduplication, and governance across the CRM.

HubSpot CMS & Frontend Development

• Develop and maintain HubSpot CMS themes, templates, and custom modules.
• Build dynamic, reusable components using HubL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to deliver scalable, high-performance pages.
• Manage development using HubSpot CLI and local development workflows.

Integrations & Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between HubSpot and external platforms.
• Work extensively with HubSpot APIs, including CRM APIs, Custom Objects API, Webhooks, and OAuth 2.0.
• Build backend services and automation using Node.js or Python.
• Handle rate limits, retries, error handling, and reliable data synchronization (one-way and two-way).

Custom Code & Automation

• Develop and maintain HubSpot custom code actions using Node.js or Python.
• Leverage HubSpot serverless functions where appropriate.
• Securely manage environment variables and secrets.
• Monitor, debug, and resolve automation and integration failures.

Data Management & Migration

• Execute data imports, exports, and large-scale migrations.
• Map properties accurately and ensure historical data integrity.
• Support CRM migrations to or from other platforms when required.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Document workflows, integrations, and platform architecture clearly.
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams for aligned execution.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on HubSpot development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
• HubSpot CRM and Custom Objects
• HubSpot CMS and HubL
• HubSpot APIs and OAuth

• Proficiency in Node.js or Python for backend development.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and webhooks.
• Proven experience integrating HubSpot with external systems such as ERPs, product platforms, or data services.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system-thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inheriting, refactoring, and scaling existing HubSpot implementations.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot Custom Code Actions and serverless functions.
• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React or Vue for embedded or external applications.
• CRM migration experience (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics).
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• HubSpot CMS Developer or related certifications.
