Role Summary and Impact
As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a HSEQ Coordinator who will:
• Regulatory Compliance & Governance (Colombia & Mexico)
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SG-SST (Colombia) and NOM-STPS compliance framework (Mexico) within WPP Media – GOC LATAM.
• Ensure full compliance with local labor and occupational safety regulations in both countries.
• Prepare and lead internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain updated documentation, annual work plans, risk matrices, regulatory reports, and mandatory filings.
• Risk Management & Prevention
• Identify, assess, and monitor workplace risks across WPP Media – GOC LATAM operational sites.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective action plans.
• Lead investigations of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Monitor safety KPIs, absenteeism trends, and risk indicators.
• Ensure implementation and testing of emergency response and contingency plans.
• Operational Implementation
• Coordinate applicable safety committees in Colombia and Mexico.
• Oversee mandatory safety training programs and onboarding compliance.
• Ensure medical examinations and occupational health surveillance programs are properly executed.
• Partner closely facilities to guarantee safe working environments.
• Culture & Leadership Enablement
• Promote a prevention-based safety culture across WPP Media – GOC LATAM.
• Develop communication and awareness initiatives.
• Advise leadership on regulatory exposure and mitigation strategies.
• Provide structured guidance on compliance and safe work practices.
Skills and Experience
If this opportunity looks right for you, we are looking for candidates who have:
• 3–5 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety (HSE), with hands-on experience in SG-SST implementation in Colombia. Familiarity with NOM-STPS regulations in Mexico and the ability to coordinate local compliance requirements is desirable.
• Certified Occupational Health & Safety professional with valid Colombian license.
• Strong knowledge of SG-SST (Colombia) and NOM-STPS regulations (Mexico).
• Highly structured, compliance-driven, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to influence operational leaders and drive accountability.
• Proactive mindset with strong documentation and reporting discipline
