HSE Technician (CSW)
Job Description
• As an HSE Technician (CSW), you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) information systems, databases, and processes that ensure compliance with regulatory and industry best practice standards. 
• You will support research & development and manufacturing operations.
• In this role, you will impact the safety and environmental compliance of chemical management processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of safety across multiple sites.  
• This role will be onsite  with reporting to both site locations as needed.  
 
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage large-scale chemical inventories, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely updates
• Oversee SDS management systems (Velocity EHS), including retrieval, organization, and alignment with hazard communication standards
• Administer SAP processes related to materials management and chemical tracking
• Apply HMIS classifications and perform hazard assessments to support safe handling and storage practices
• Collaborate with and support a team of HSE professionals by assisting with various tasks to maintain and improve HSE system performance
• Continuously learn and adapt to HSE regulatory requirements and best practices to enhance system management capabilities
 
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• Working knowledge of OSHA Hazard Communication requirements, GHS labeling standards, and SDS interpretation
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical skills to rapidly diagnose problems, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions
• Quick learner who adapts efficiently to new tools, workflows, and responsibilities
• Highly self-driven with a reputation for reliability and strong professional discipline
• Advanced computer skills with hands-on experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in occupational safety, information systems, engineering, environmental science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Interest in developing expertise in HSE systems and regulatory compliance.

Chemical & SDS Management Experience
