POSITION SUMMARY:
Payroll and Employee Data Processing covers end-to-end payroll and time attendance, employee benefits administration, and employee data management. This position is responsible for ensuring employees receive accurate and timely payments with correct statutory and company deductions. The role ensures compliance with SIKA global standards, local labor laws, and third-party requirements. Responsibilities also include HRIS and ESS system maintenance, preparation of payroll and employee-related reports, handling employee and supervisor inquiries, supporting HR projects, and providing back-office and transactional HR services.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Payroll & Time Attendance Processing
• Process monthly payroll and time attendance accurately, including salary, overtime, shift payments, bonuses, commissions, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
• Maintain payroll-related records such as salary adjustments, benefits enrollment, mandatory contributions, new joins, terminations, and leave of absence.
• Perform payroll reconciliation, verification, and error resolution to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll data.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with payroll legislation, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Respond to employee and supervisor inquiries related to payroll, time attendance, and leave balances.
• Maintain and update records for annual leave, sick leave, and other statutory or company leave types.
Employee Benefits Processing
• Provide operational support to Compensation & Benefits activities, including data submissions for market surveys and support for compensation review processes.
• Prepare and share periodic and ad-hoc reports for country and regional stakeholders.
• Manage employee benefits data and support merit review processes and benefits administration.
• Advise employees and process benefit requests in line with SIKA policies and applicable government programs, ensuring communication of updated benefits information.
Employee Data Processing
• Deliver HR administration and employee data management services across the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate employee records and perform regular data audits to ensure data integrity.
• Process employee data changes, including personal information, job changes, leave records, and exit administration.
• Prepare and provide HR reports such as headcount, overtime, employee movement, compensation reports, and employee certificates as required.
• Ensure compliance with SIKA global standards, local legal requirements, and third-party regulations.
• Maintain HR systems (HRIS and ESS) to ensure employee data accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility.
Other duties and HR operational support as assigned by the HR Operations Manager.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioural Science, or related field
Experience and Background
• At least 5 years' experience in HR payroll and time attendance management
• Knowledgeable in local employment laws and regulations
• Proficient with computer systems and HRIS/payroll software
