Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm PST

Scope of the Role
The HR Specialist will support the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR operations across a global remote workforce. This role is hands-on and operational, focused on people processes, compliance, documentation, and day-to-day employee support. You will partner closely with leadership to maintain a strong people foundation while the company continues to scale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end HR operations for a fully remote, international team
• Own onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience
• Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
• Support payroll coordination and contractor compliance across multiple regions
• Act as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and processes
• Assist with performance review cycles and feedback processes
• Support hiring operations in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers
• Help define, document, and improve HR policies and internal processes
• Ensure compliance with labour regulations for contractors and remote workers
• Support company culture initiatives, engagement, and internal communications

• 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role
• Strong experience supporting remote and international teams
• Solid understanding of HR operations, contracts, and compliance for contractors
• Experience working with HRIS tools and documentation systems
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
• Comfortable partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams
• Experience in tech, SaaS, or e-commerce environments is a strong plus
