WA Technology enables operators to build their own Casino, Sportsbook, Lottery and Fantasy business precisely how they envision it. We have offices around the world, supporting our clients with on-the-ground presence and regional expertise.
Where and how we work?
We currently have teams based in Malta, Lisbon (Portugal), Sofia (Bulgaria), London (UK) and Bucharest (Romania). Our hybrid work model encourages regular in-person collaboration while also allowing flexibility to work remotely.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
• Support the setup and day-to-day HR operations in Romania, ensuring processes run smoothly and compliantly.
• Maintain and improve HR processes (contracts, onboarding, payroll inputs, employee data) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Ensure clean and reliable data flows between HR, payroll, and finance.
• Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose practical improvements.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for our Romanian team.
• Support alignment of local HR practices with company standards while adapting to Romanian requirements.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise :
• +4 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Specialist roles.
• Strong knowledge of Romanian employment law (contracts, amendments, terminations)
• Solid understanding of payroll processes (inputs, validations, common errors)
• Experience working with payroll providers or internal payroll teams.
• Experience managing or supporting hiring processes end-to-end.
• Experience handling employee lifecycle processes end-to-end (onboarding, changes, exits)
• Experience working in international or multi-country environments (hands-on involvement)
• Background in SaaS, tech, or fast-paced companies.
