Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series and Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.
We are seeking a professional with experience in HR administration to join the team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate management of employment documentation, payroll records, time tracking, and the coordination of occupational risk prevention and subsidized training processes, while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with current labor regulations.
For the right candidate, this position could be remote.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
Documentation: prepare, review, and manage employment contracts, annexes, extensions and related documentation.
Employee lifecycle: issue employee registrations, terminations, certificates and updates with Social Security authorities.
Database management: act as the primary datekeeper for the HRIS (BambooHR), ensuring all personal data is accurate and current.
Compliance & Safety: maintain mandatory documentation for Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL), medical exams and training programs.
Coordinate subsidized training programs through external providers (e.g., FUNDAE or equivalent), including administrative follow-up and documentation control.
Document control: maintain up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
Provide general administrative support within the HR department.
Payroll & Time registration support
Payroll preparation: collect payroll variables, incidents and reconciling data to prepare, monthly payroll records in coordination with HR, Finance and external advisors.
Time & Attendance: manage and audit employee time tracking systems, vacations and absences.
Experience/ Technical Requirements
Education: Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) in Administration and Finance or Business Administration or degree in Business Administration or similar.
Additional education or knowledge: Payroll and Social Security management, Spanish labor law.
Experience: proven administrative experience in HR administration or labor management.
Technical literacy: mid Excel skills are required.
Financial foundations: experience in payroll preparation.
Experience in coordinating PRL and/or subsidized training (preferred).
Previous experience in the audiovisual sector or production environments is a plus.
Professional working proficiency in English (ability to work effectively in an English-speaking environment) (B2 level).
Spanish tax residency.

Familiarity with BambooHR and other HR management systems, Juro and time tracking tools.
Experience working with external PRL and training providers.
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-demand environments.
