About the Role
We’re looking for an Office Manager & HR Operations professional to be the backbone of our workplace experience and people operations in the U.S. This role blends high-touch office management with detail-oriented HR operations—supporting everything from office logistics and vendor management to onboarding, benefits administration, and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
Office Management & Workplace Operations
• Own day-to-day office operations including supplies, office upkeep, access, seating, and workplace systems.
• Manage office vendors (facilities, IT support, cleaning, catering, security, etc.) including contracts, renewals, and performance.
• Coordinate office services: mail handling, deliveries, conference room scheduling, and office communications.
• Plan and execute on-site events (team lunches, offsites, celebrations) and support employee engagement programs.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming office environment; ensure compliance with office safety and building policies.
• Track and manage office budget and expenses in partnership with Finance.
HR Operations & Employee Experience
• Support end-to-end onboarding for U.S. employees: paperwork, background checks, equipment coordination, orientation scheduling.
• Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS/tools; ensure data quality and confidentiality.
• Administer employee programs including benefits enrollment support, leave tracking, and employee lifecycle updates.
• Coordinate HR processes such as offer letters, employee verifications, policy acknowledgements, and offboarding checklists.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR processes, workplace policies, and benefits logistics.
• Support compliance tasks including I-9 verification (if applicable), documentation, and policy updates.
• Assist with HR projects (performance cycle coordination, engagement surveys, culture initiatives, etc.)
Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in Office Management, HR Operations, People Ops, or related roles.
• Strong operational execution skills—able to manage multiple workflows and stakeholders without dropping details.
• Experience supporting U.S. HR operations (onboarding, benefits coordination, employee recordkeeping).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity and discretion; comfortable handling confidential employee information.
• Proficiency with workplace tools (Google Workspace, Slack, HRIS platforms, spreadsheets).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
