Job Title: HR Onboarding Specialist

Location: Remote- LATAM

Schedule: Full time | Monday - Friday. 9AM - 5PM PST

Compensation: $2000 - $3000 USD Monthly. ( Negotiable based on experience and seniority)

Job Summary

We are looking for an organized and people-focused HR Onboarding Specialist to manage and improve the new hire onboarding experience. This person will be responsible for coordinating preboarding and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee transition into the company, and using Deel to support hiring, contract management, compliance, and international onboarding workflows.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across teams to create a seamless and welcoming employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance through first-day readiness
• Use Deel to manage onboarding workflows, contracts, compliance documents, and global hiring processes
• Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, payroll, and People teams to ensure all onboarding steps are completed on time
• Prepare and collect employment documentation, agreements, and required compliance forms
• Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date in HR systems
• Schedule onboarding sessions, orientation meetings, and training as needed
• Act as a main point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process
• Support international employee and contractor onboarding through Deel.
• Track onboarding progress and follow up on pending tasks or missing documentation
• Help improve onboarding processes, templates, and internal documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor requirements

Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, onboarding, or employee lifecycle support

• Hands-on experience using Deel
• Strong understanding of onboarding processes and HR documentation
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes at once
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with HR systems, Google Workspace, and communication tools such as Slack

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience onboarding international employees or contractors
• Familiarity with remote-first or distributed team environments
• Knowledge of HR compliance and employment documentation across multiple regions
• Experience with payroll, benefits coordination, or broader People Ops processes
