Position Summary:
The HR People & Culture Manager serves as a trusted advisor to employees and local leadership, supporting a diverse and internationally mobile workforce. In addition to providing expert guidance on Serbian employment law, employee relations, and workplace policies, this role plays a key part in shaping and sustaining a collaborative company culture.
The position partners closely with global HR and local management to ensure consistent application of company standards while addressing local legal and cultural requirements.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
• Proactively identify and address employee issues before they escalate, using a solutions-oriented and compliant approach.
• Support managers in handling sensitive employee situations, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and conduct-related matters.
• Manage employee relations cases in line with Serbian labor law and company policies, including documentation and escalation when necessary.
Relocated & International Employee Support:
• Act as an HR partner to relocated employees, supporting their integration into the local workforce and addressing employment-related questions.
• Provide guidance on local employment practices, workplace norms, and regulatory requirements relevant to international employees.
• Coordinate with global HR, mobility, and legal teams as needed to ensure consistent and compliant employee support.
• Ensure adherence to Serbian employment laws, labor regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Advise leadership on local HR risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support internal audits, investigations, and regulatory inquiries as needed.
HR Partnership & Continuous Improvement:
• Identify trends in employee concerns and recommend improvements to policies, processes, or communication.
• Serve as a local HR representative in global initiatives, ensuring regional alignment.
• Consistently monitor and stay informed about the dynamics of the local labor market, ensuring a clear understanding of the current trends and salary benchmarks for various job roles.

• Foster a strong and inclusive company culture that supports collaboration, trust, and mutual respect across teams.
• Promote teamwork within a diverse and internationally mobile workforce, encouraging cross-functional and cross-cultural cooperation.
• Plan, coordinate, and support team-building activities and cultural initiatives.
• Support internal communication initiatives that reinforce company values, transparency, and alignment.
Experience and Requirements:
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations and employment law.
• In-depth knowledge of Serbian labor laws and employment regulations.
• Experience supporting internationally relocated or culturally diverse employee populations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Strong communication skills in both advisory and conflict-resolution contexts.
• Fluency in English required.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
