As our HR Generalist, you will be the backbone of our HR & Talent Acquisition operations and the support to the Head of HR. In this role, you will take ownership of our operational framework, ensuring that every process, from drafting contracts to managing precise monthly payroll, is executed timely and accurately. By managing BambooHR and taking ownership of our recruitment workflows, you ensure that our administrative processes are consistently accurate and our data remains reliable for all daily operations.
This role is primarily office-based to support collaboration, teamwork, and visibility across the organisation. The HR Generalist is expected to work from the office 4 days per week, with 1 day per week working from home.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Execution
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all open roles, from initial sourcing on job boards, to conducting screenings and coordinating hiring manager interviews.
Draft and maintain accurate job descriptions and ensure all vacancies are posted on relevant industry boards and the JOI Careers page.
Manage the candidate pipeline within BambooHR, ensuring timely feedback and a professional candidate experience.
Conduct pre-employment due diligence, including reference checks and right-to-work verifications.
HR Operations & Compliance
Serve as the administrator for BambooHR, ensuring all employee data, digital files, and lifecycle changes (promotions, salary adjustments) are 100% accurate.
Manage all local statutory requirements, including the timely filing of engagement and termination forms.
Draft employment contracts, addenda, and termination letters in strict accordance with local legislation and GDPR.
Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring the recovery of company assets and completion of statutory documentation.
Payroll Preparation & Benefits Administration
Prepare the monthly pay-run by collecting data on leave, bonuses, salary changes, etc., liaising directly with the external payroll providers and Finance team.
Administer all employee benefits, including, but not limited to, monetary allowances and occupational pension scheme.
Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding payroll queries, policy clarifications, and leave entitlements.
