As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly capable and experienced Human Resources Manager to support our internal team. This is a remote, part-time role designed for an HR professional who thrives in autonomy, can operate with minimal supervision, and is excited to take ownership of recruitment and broader HR initiatives.

This position is:
100% remote
Flexible in scheduling (part-time hours)
Based in the East Durham and Kawarthas region (occasional in-person meetings required)
Newly created role
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for multiple roles
Source candidates using diverse recruitment channels
Screen resumes and conduct structured virtual interviews independently
Prepare shortlists and candidate summaries for hiring leaders
Build talent pipelines and proactive sourcing strategies to support growth
Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain and update HR policies and documentation
Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems and processes
Provide ad-hoc HR support as organizational needs evolve
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive HR experience
Strong experience leading full-cycle recruitment independently
Deep understanding of Ontario employment standards and HR compliance requirements
Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
CHRP designation (or working toward) is preferred
Key Interpersonal Skills:
Highly self-directed and accountable
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Confident interviewer who can assess both technical competence and cultural alignment
Organized and detail-oriented while balancing multiple priorities
Collaborative and relationship-focused approach
Comfortable operating in a small team environment where adaptability is essential

Starting Salary Range: $30-$45/hour
