About the Opportunity

Are you enthusiastic about contributing to a vibrant workplace culture and making a difference? We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions while fostering a positive work environment. 

More specifically, some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including creating and promoting job postings, scheduling and conducting interviews and reference checks, presenting employment offers and completing the bonding application.

Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring all data is current and secure.

Support the People & Culture team in various administrative task such as reporting, filing, and data management.

Ensure all necessary paperwork and policy documents are completed and filed appropriately.

Provide backup support for payroll processing and benefits administration as needed, ensuring timely and accurate payroll distribution.

Support the People & Culture Manager in implementing employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and policy development.

Respond to employee inquiries and address concerns promptly and professionally. 

Assist in organizing company events and activities that promote a positive workplace culture.

Participate in the Social Committee and Occupational Health and Safety Committee.

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will need over 2 years' experience in HR, specifically in recruitment and administration. A degree, diploma or certificate in Human Resources is an asset.

As our ideal candidate, you will possess effective communication skills, experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems, and a solid foundation of knowledge in employment laws and regulations. Additionally, you will demonstrate excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
