What you’ll achieve
Working closely with the HR Lead for North & Central Europe, as the HR Generalist, Belgium you will support the day‑to‑day HR operations for our Belgian & Dutch organization. As part of a small HR team supporting around 150 employees, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR processes and providing support to employees and managers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on HR work, takes initiative, and wants to continue developing their HR expertise in a collaborative and international business
You will:
• Manage key HR operations across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes)
• Coordinate compensation and benefits administration (fleet, group, health insurance etc.)
• Manage payroll processes for Belgium and The Netherlands in collaboration with an external payroll provider
• First contact for employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
• Support recruitment activities, including candidate screening and interviews
• Contribute to HR initiatives and help improve HR processes and ways of working
• Maintain constructive relationships with unions

Essential Requirements
• Several years of experience in a similar HR role in Belgium
• Knowledge of Belgian labour law
• A hands‑on and pragmatic approach to HR operations
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Proficiency MS office – strong knowledge of excel
Desirable Requirements
• Experience with Workday
• Experience in Dutch labour law
• Prevention advisor level 2 certificate
• Knowledge working with an outsourced payroll provider
• Professional proficiency in French
