As an HR Director working with the APAC Professional Services team in our Gurgaon office and the APAC Regional VP, you will lead the strategic HR roadmap for the region. You will drive people initiatives, provide expert guidance on India-specific HR complexities, and ensure compliance with local legislation while aligning with Taboola’s global people strategies. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an engaged, high-performing workforce.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Min 6-8 years of experience in HR business partnering, with expertise in India labor laws, employee relations, and cultural nuances.

• Strong analytical skills to provide actionable insights and align HR strategies with business objectives.

• A proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to drive innovative and fit-for-purpose HR initiatives.

How you’ll make an impact:

As an HR Director, you will:

• As the dedicated strategic HR Business Partner for the APAC Professional Services function, you will own and drive the complete HR agenda for this critical business unit across all relevant countries in the APAC region. This includes leading the development and execution of the APAC Professional Services HR roadmap, ensuring tight integration with both global and regional HR strategy and the function's specific commercial and talent goals. You will be accountable for translating business priorities into tangible HR outcomes, specifically focusing on performance management, succession planning, compensation and benefits alignment, and complex multi-country employee relations, all while ensuring full local regulatory compliance.

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on workforce planning, talent strategies, and employee engagement.

• Oversee generalist HR activities, including performance management, total rewards, succession planning, and talent development.

• Analyze people data and provide insights to support informed decision-making and drive business outcomes.

• Champion a culture that aligns with Taboola’s values, fostering high employee engagement and motivation.

• Serve as the lead regional expert, responsible for providing definitive, end-to-end guidance and interpretation on all matters of Indian employment law, labor regulations, and statutory compliance. You will be the central point of contact for complex, high-risk employee relations cases, leading sensitive internal investigations, advising business leaders on disciplinary actions, and managing relationships with legal counsel and government authorities to ensure the organization maintains full compliance and minimizes risk across all India locations.
